The One Solution to Pain Management Every Practice Is Missing

Welcome!

Hello, my name is Dr. Frank Jarrell. Welcome to the SRI Blog.

Spondylogenic Reflex Syndrome

As the SRI family of educational services and products matures into a set of standardized solutions for healthcare professionals, there are many questions to be asked and many answers to be shared about spondylogenic reflex syndromes (SRS).

Science is just beginning to understand the role of the SRS in health and disease. At SRI, Intl. we are discovering that procedures can be predictable, reproducible and dependable, that consistent outcomes can be the norm as opposed to the exception, and that through SRS dependent strategies, we can all be gate keepers to effective care and we can make a profound difference in people’s lives.

Spinal Reflex Institute's Beginnings

The discovery and development of these procedures is both a personal and a professional story. Mixed outcomes and insufficient strategies over many years for compression herniation of L4/5 and L5/S1 discs from a sky diving accident left me frustrated and in chronic pain and asking important questions. Why are so many procedures in neuromusculoskeletal care so inconsistent from episode to episode and patient to patient? Which conventions in health care are effective and which were obsolete? How can I enhance my professional skills over and above the norm for my patients?

Determined to find a solution, I began researching the SRS and realized that without a functional knowledge of this insidious pathological process, we are clueless as to the cause of the cascade of pain and dysfunction we experience from day to day. After years of clinical studies, research and application, I developed SRA, SRT, 5MinuteBack and TrueCore to address shortcomings in our healthcare education about the SRS and to bring awareness of the SRS process to the healthcare field.

I hope that through this blog I can help answer your questions about the spondylogenic reflex syndrome and SRI, Intl. services and products.
